Club Runs

A fun, friendly running group - whether you are just starting out, getting back into it, or are a seasoned runner.  We cater from total beginners up to ultra marathon - you will always find a buddy to help you get out there.  Different routes, lots of fun, and always an adventure.  Our club runs are lead by qualified LiRF trained Run Leaders who are also First Aid trained and DBS checked.  Even though the clocks have changed and it is light when we start, we ask that all runners who are attending an evening run, to wear a head/chest torch and to wear brightly coloured clothing.  Runs will be trail/road. 

The Club Runs are approximately an hour long and the easiest way to book on is to download the 'RunTogether Runner' app.  Alternatively, you can book via the RunTogether website using the links below.

  • Monday 9:15am Plodders/Beginners   5-6k - for those just starting out or returning to running after time out/injury - stops for recovery/rest, option to walk in places - Run Leaders - Paula Lakhani and Nina Belk.
  • Monday 9:15am Steady Run   8k - stops for recovery/rest and walk hills - Run Leaders - Carolynn Royce, Bob Searle and assisted by Mark Berryman.
  • Monday 6.30pm Steady Run  8k - stops for recovery/rest and walk hills - Run Leaders - Alison Jackson and Becky Copus.
  • Tuesday 6.30pm Plodders/Beginners  5-6k - for those just starting out or returning to running after time out/injury - stops for recovery/rest, option to walk in places - Run Leaders - Bob Searle.
  • Tuesday 6.30pm Steady Run   8k - stops for recovery/rest and walk hills - Run Leaders - Louise Sutherland.
  • Tuesday 6.30pm Continuous Run  10k - a faster-paced run with a few stops for recovery - Run Leaders - Danielle Harris and assisted by Mark Berryman.
  • Wednesday 6.30pm - Steady Run  8k - stops for recovery/rest and walk hills - Run Leader - Jo Woods.
  • Thursday 9.15am Plodders/Beginners  5-6k - for those just starting out or returning to running after time out/injury - stops for recovery/rest, option to walk in places - Run Leader - Paula Lakhani.
  • Thursday 9:15am Steady Run   8-10k - stops for recovery/rest and walk hills - Run Leaders - Carolynn Royce, Louise Sutherland and Bob Searle.
  • Thursday 9.15am Continuous Run  10k - a faster-paced run with a few stops for recovery - Run Leader - Lucinda Lighting and assisted by Mark Berryman.
  • Last Friday of the Month Pub Run 7k - all paces welcomed for a 'social' run where front runners will be asked to loop back to the tail runner so the group is kept together.  Venue and time changes. Option to stay for a post-run drink. Run Leader - Louise Sutherland.

Terms and Conditions:-

By booking on a run you are confirming that you are showing no signs of Covid-19 symptoms or any of your household or support bubble. If you are self-isolating, you should stay at home - this is critical to staying safe and saving lives. You are also confirming that you have not been in contact with anyone showing signs of Covid-19. We also ask that you do not attend a club run if a member of your household is self-isolating.
